Manu, a Classroom of Hope field photographer, quietly captured the moments of the day and prepared to capture the moments of the night. For these recorded memories, I am eternally grateful.

Nicola Courtin

To Raise funds for Classroom of Hopes & Pelita Foudations Popup School Program Nicola Courtin and Matt Murray ran a Ultramarathon across Lombok. The first that ever has taken place on the Island. Both runners started in the evening (2h apart) close to Bangsal in the north of Lombok and crossed the finish line together 84km and one night later in Koeta the next morning.

As the streets where not closed for this run, both runners had their own support car driving behind and a police car driving in front of them. Thanks to the Pelita Foundation I had my personal driver (one of their Volunteers) and a Motorbike for the whole night, so I was able to easily move between the two runners and document their progress in both video and pictures.
